[FILM] Conclave (2024)
The trouble with Conclave is that the build-up is so unbelievably good, that the ending, regardless of quality, was always going to be a disappointment. The film ratchets up the tension to almost unbearable levels, with some shocking reveals throughout, so by the time the actual ending came about I was left feeling a little underwhelmed. I think this might be a case of the director doing a little too good a job with the source material.
