[FILM] Nosferatu (2024)

It's nice to have a big, bombastic gothic horror film in cinemas again. Brooding castles, plenty of blood, bizarre possessions, it's all here and executed with the usual Eggers flair. One of the impressive things about the film is how visual elements of the original, which is over 100 years at this point, have been adapted to remain frightening in present day. At times I felt that the core metaphorical aspects of the story were presented in a little too obvious a way, but overall it's an extremely solid film.
