[GAME] Katamari Damacy (2004)

Now here is a game that feels extremely fresh even 20 years after its release. This is largely due to its amazing low poly art style, which makes the visuals really pop when compared to its contemporaries that chased realism at the time. The music is also delightfully bonkers, with the main theme being a particular standout.

I also really respect games that choose unorthodox control schemes - the Prince here is controlled with two analog sticks, each of which represents one of the Prince's hands. After a few minutes of adjusting to this, the control scheme feels completely natural, and I can't imagine the game being played any other way. I am very excited to check out the other games in this franchise.
