[FILM] In A Violent Nature (2024)
Not quite sure what to think of this. I like the idea, and I generally like slow paced, meditative films, but something about it just didn't quite click. The ending, which I later read was pretty divisive, I actually kind of liked. I think my biggest issue is that the big centerpiece kill (involving yoga) was so ridiculously OTT that it felt like it was from a different, less grounded slasher. Still, it's all interesting stuff and I will definitely be checking out the sequel which I understand is in the works.
